Buses to and from Newark Airport (EWR)

Upon arrival at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), passengers can choose from several ground transportation services, including rental cars, taxis, rideshares, hotel shuttle services, and buses.

You can get a bus from all three terminals at EWR. A bus ride from the Newark Airport to Grand Central Station (New York City), for example, costs about $18 for one way or $30 for a round trip.

NJ Transit Bus/Express Bus (NJ Transit Bus Lines: 28, 37, 62, 67, 107)

New Jersey Transit Corporation - Express Bus runs between Newark Liberty International Airport & New York City.

The Express Bus runs from 5 a.m. until 1 a.m. and costs $18 for one way or $30 for a round trip.

Each bus stops at all 3 major New York stops (i.e. Grand Central Station, Bryant Park, Port Authority Bus Terminal).

Boarding Areas (Terminals A, B, and C)

Bus passengers from New Airport can board a bus to New City in front of any of the terminals.

  • Terminal A, at Level 1, outside at Bus Stop 5 (to Grand Central Station 41st Street between Park and Lexington avenues)
  • Terminal B, at Level 1, outside bus stop 2 (to Bryant Park 42nd Street and 5th Avenue)
  • Terminal C, at Level 1, outside at bus stop 5 & 6 (to Port Authority Bus Terminal 41st Street between 8th and 9th avenues)
