Trains to and from Fort Lauderdale hollywood International Airport (FLL)

Upon arrival at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), passengers can choose from several ground transportation services, including rental cars, taxis, rideshares, buses, and hotel shuttle services.

The Amtrak/Tri-Rail Station is a few kilometers from the airport in Dania Beach train station.

Ground transportation to the train station is very convenient. There are complimentary shuttle buses from airport terminals to the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport Train Station at Dania Beach.

Passengers can catch a bus from Stop No. 7 near the Rental Car Center.

Fort Lauderdale Amtrak/Tri-Rail Station

The Fort Lauderdale train station is served by Tri-Rail and Amtrak. The station is on Southwest 21st Terrace south of West Broward Boulevard.

The Tri-Rail is a commuter rail line linking Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach in Florida, United States.

A one-way fare starts at $2.50.

This station was a former Seaboard Air Line Railway depot constructed in 1927. The station took the place of a temporary structure to greet the arrival of the first Seaboard passenger train in South Florida, the Orange Blossom Special.

Amtrak maintained Silver Meteor service to the station when it took over train service in 1971. Silver Meteor and Amtrak's Silver Star continue to use the station up to this day.

In 1989, the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority began Tri-Rail service to the station, building additional facilities to the original station. It consists of a passenger waiting room on the northern end and a baggage room in the center section.
