Orlando International Airport Parking

Several ground transportation options are available at Orlando International Airport, making it a central transportation hub for the entire state of Florida.

Travelers can easily access either terminal at the Airport, thanks to its two buildings and multiple parking garages.

For those who prefer to drive to the Airport, there are many parking options, including free short-term parking near the terminals, long-term parking with wheelchair accessibility, and a garage.

More than 80 percent of Terminal C's construction has been completed as of June 2022, with significant completion anticipated for 2022. When it is fully functional, the new terminal's 15 gates will be able to accommodate up to 20 aircraft and a total of 10-12 million additional passengers each year.

Parking is available at both Terminals A, and B. Pickup locations for shuttles are on the ground floor of both terminals.

MCO Short-Term Parking

The Airport provides convenient short-term parking in garages A and B, located adjacent to the terminals.

There is a grace period for the first 20 minutes, a charge of $2 for the next 21 to 30 minutes, and a charge of $1 for each subsequent increment of 15 minutes, up to a daily maximum of $19 per day.

Customers flying with American Airlines, JetBlue, United, and Alaska Airlines can check their bags and use the curbside valet service at no cost.

Oversized vehicles can be accommodated in the North Park Place lot.

If you're picking up passengers, you can use the North or South Cell Phone Lots, but you have to stay in your car until the passengers are ready to be picked up.

The Airport also provides short-term and long-term economy parking lots that require a shuttle ride of 10 minutes.

The lot has a 10-minute grace period for free parking, after which $5 per hour is charged, up to a maximum of three hours, and then $10 per day.

MCO Long-Term Parking

Off-airport parking rates at Orlando Airport range between $3.95 to $9 per day, depending on the lot. Various parking options are available, including covered/uncovered spaces.

All lots offer complimentary 24/7 shuttle service, which operates at 10 to 20-minute intervals.

Accessible Parking Privilege

MCO offers free parking following Florida Statutes Section 316.1964 for vehicles equipped with specialized equipment such as ramps, lifts, or foot or hand controls, vehicles displaying the State of Florida Toll Exemption Permit, or vehicles with a disabled veteran's plate.

Parking Tips at Orlando International Airport

The following tips might help you avoid some frustrating situations when looking for a parking spot at the Airport.

• Leave home and plan to arrive at the Airport at least an hour earlier. In that way, you can potentially avoid the likelihood of driving around looking for parking availability. It could also delay your arrival at the departure gate promptly.
• Check out the Airport's map. Before leaving for the Airport, familiarize yourself with terminals, gates, access roads, and parking locations.
• When traveling with a piece of luggage, be mindful of the distance between the parking location and the terminal gates. Also, look if there are shuttle buses available in your vicinity.
• Especially during the long holidays, rush hour, and high travel seasons, vehicles at the parking area may cause a jam at the bottleneck at the security checking area and the airport gates.
• When there are lots of passengers, this also means that the airport shuttle services are slow and overcrowded, packed with people and their luggage.
• Security measures can also inconvenience your schedule, and it's hard to prepare for them.
