Chicago Midway Airport Parking

Midway International Airport offers a variety of parking options. Parking services include handicap-accessible parking areas, valet parking, cell phone waiting lots, etc.

A complimentary shuttle runs every 10-15 minutes to/from the economy parking location.

Please note the shuttle bus stop number where you are picked up upon your departure from the lot.

Accepted forms of payment include cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, and Carte Blanche.

Passengers who want to park their car at the facility must ensure that they arrive earlier to have plenty of time to look for parking and avoid being late for their flight.

Account for human traffic and the possibility of high demand for parking lots during this period.

As an alternative, you may also try to look at nearby locations if there are parking lots by independent providers.

Economy Garage

The two economy parking locations are the best option for long-term parking at Midway International Airport. The parking rates are the same throughout each economy lot.

• Up to 1 hour, $4.00
• 1 to 24 hours, $15.00

The Economy Garage is located west of S. Cicero Avenue and north of 55th Street. Remember to note which level ​you parked your vehicle at upon exiting the garage.

Terminal Garage

• ​Up to 1 hour, $4.00
• 1 to 2 hours, $8.00
• 2 to 3 hours, $12.00
• 3 to 4 hours, $16.00
• 4 to 8 hours, $32.00
• 8 to 24 hours, $64.00

It is located adjacent to the terminal building and includes hourly and daily parking. Hourly parking is located on Level 1 of the garage. Daily garage parking​ is located on Levels 2 - 6.

It is adjacent to the terminal building and provides hourly and daily parking on Levels 2 - 6 and Level 1 of the garage.

Reserved Parking

Reserved parking provides the most convenient access to the terminals at Level 2​ of the Main Terminal Garage.

The parking reservation fee is $10 per space, per day, excluding taxes, fees, and the cost of parking.

Parking Tips at Midway International Airport

• Leave home and plan to arrive at the airport at least an hour earlier. In that way, you can potentially avoid the likelihood of driving around looking for parking availability. It could also delay your arrival at the departure gate promptly.
• Check out the airport’s map. Before leaving for the airport, familiarize yourself with terminals, gates, access roads, and parking locations
• When traveling with a piece of luggage, be mindful of the distance between the parking location and the terminal gates. Also, look if there are shuttle buses available in your vicinity.
• Especially during the long holidays, rush hour, and high travel seasons, vehicles at the parking area may cause a jam at the bottleneck at the security checking area and the airport gates.
• When there are lots of passengers, this also means that the airport shuttle services are slow and overcrowded, packed with people and their luggage.
• Security measures can also inconvenience your schedule, and it’s hard to prepare for them.
• Maintenance and construction work can mean detours that you will have to take to get to your parking spot at the airport.
• When traveling with your vehicle to the airport, provide enough time to account for possible delays on the road.
