Getting to and from Charleston International Airport (CHS)

The CHS Rental Car pickup is in the Rental Car Pavilion at the end of the terminal, past the Baggage Claim area at the ground level.

When ready to return your vehicle to the car rental center, remove all personal items before turning over the rented vehicle to the designated facility.

The Rental Car Drop-off is located on Level 1 of the new five-level parking building. This facility is connected with a covered walkway to and from the terminal.

Ride Shares at Charleston International Airport

Rideshares are available at Charleston International Airport.

Buses at Charleston International Airport

CARTA Express Bus Route 4: also known as North Area Shuttle (NASH) Express is an express service to downtown Charleston with stops at the North Charleston Visitors Center and the Tanger Outlets. Total trip time from the airport to downtown is usually 25–35 minutes.

CARTA Bus Route 11: is a local service that connects the airport to downtown Charleston with several stops along Dorchester Road and Meeting Street in North Charleston. Total trip time from the airport to downtown is usually 50–55 minutes.
