Trains to and from Detroit Airport (DTW)

Upon arrival at Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), passengers can choose from several ground transportation services, including rental cars, taxis, rideshares, hotel shuttle services, and buses.

Although there is no train station at this airport. However, train connection is available in downtown Detroit, 35 kilometers away.

You can get there via SMART bus for $2.00 or a taxi for around $30.00.

The McNamara and Evans terminals at Detroit Metropolitan Airport have respective Pick-Up and Drop-Off points.

  • At Evans Terminal, please proceed to the Ground Transportation Center.
  • At McNamara Terminal, go to the north end of the Departures Level (Ticketing Level) near Door No. 1.

Detroit Station (Baltimore Street Station)

This intermodal transit station in Detroit, serves Amtrak.

It also serves as a stop for Greyhound Lines, Detroit Department of Transportation buses, Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation buses, and QLine streetcars.

The station is at the southwest corner of Woodward and West Baltimore avenues in the New Center area.

Amtrak's Wolverine line serves an elevated platform at the main building, while the QLine serves an adjacent platform on Woodward Avenue.
