National Car Rental at San Diego International Airport

San Diego International Airport (SAN) is located nearby to the city centre of San Diego, in the American state of California. It is amongst the busiest thirty airports in the country, as it handles almost seventeen million passengers per annum, and has in the past, been rated as one of the best airports in the world in the category of airports handling 15 to 20 million passengers. Satellite navigation systems can be useful, child seats are available in various sizes and National’s hand control equipment may be used by persons with a lower limb disability. From all the car hire companies at San Diego International Airport, hand controls are free of charge. As well, from National San Diego International Airport, one way hire services can be arranged, allowing the renter to return their vehicle to an alternative rental location. There may be additional charges for one way hires from National, but they could be more convenient for certain travel itineraries.

The primary renter of a vehicle from National should personally collect the vehicle from the rental counters, and should have their valid drivers license and a major credit card in their name on hand. Other documents may also be required, such as a form of identification other than a drivers license, and a passport if from a foreign country. Foreign drivers may also require an International Driving Permit.
